1 starExtremely Disappointing Quality and REMOVEDMy experience with REMOVEDhas been deeply disappointing, both in terms of product quality and customer service. For a mattress marketed as a premium product, the quality simply does not live up to the price. The materials and overall construction feel surprisingly cheap, and the mattress has not held up in a way I would expect from a company charging a premium price. It is frustrating to spend that much money only to feel that the product does not justify the investment.Unfortunately, the customer service experience has been even worse. When I reached out for assistance, I expected a company that stood behind its product and genuinely cared about resolving the issue. Instead, I encountered an experience that was frustrating, unhelpful, and far below what I consider acceptable for a premium brand. What makes this particularly disappointing is the disconnect between Purple's marketing and the actual customer experience. A company can advertise itself as innovative and premium, but that means very little when the product quality falls short and customers are left feeling ignored when something goes wrong.I would not recommend Purple based on my experience. The mattress feels overpriced for the quality, and the customer service made an already disappointing purchase substantially worse. For this price point, customers should receive a durable, well-made product and responsive, respectful supportnot excuses and frustration.Review fromNajia S

1 starI purchased a Purple mattress earlier this year for my son after upgrading his bedframe to a queen. Since it's not a mattress that I use or that I see, I really didn't notice the issue. Just last week when I went into my son's bedroom, I noticed a noticeable gap between the bed frame and the mattress at the foot of his bed. When I asked him about it he said that he had to push the mattress against the headboard because with the gap on that end, his pillows were falling in between the spacing. Obviously, a small space is expected but not this much. Concerned that I must have received the wrong mattress size, I took out a measuring tape and measured it against what the mattress length and width should be for a queen in the model Purple mattress that we had. Sure enough it was not the right length (it should have been 80"). I feel like this would fall under a defect since the width was correct but the mattress was made short. I called Mattress Firm. I sent them pictures of the issue and they advised me to file a claim which I did. They came back late last week and told me that the manufacturer had rejected my claim. The shortness in the length makes it awkward and less aesthetic since the bedframe is a queen. Either we have to live with the mattress pushed up against the foot of the bed which creates the gap at the top which makes it difficult to sleep on since pillows get wedged in the space. Or push the mattress against the headboard, creating the gap at the foot of the bed where it just doesn't look good, making it seem like a full size mattress is sitting on a queen bedframe. I'm very frustrated with Purple. This mattress was missed during quality control (if they even do that). I guess the REMOVEDlearned is inspect the mattress when you first get it and measure it for accuracy. I wouldn't recommend Purple due to their poor customer service. This was a very expensive mattress, the most I have ever spent on one, and I'm just disappointed in it.Review fromTanya P

1 starWe purchased a $500 Purple Hybrid king mattress. Was sold on the great mattress firm, and warranty. The passes months something has changed in the mattress. When laying in bed I am folding into the mattress causing horrible hip and back pain. Contacted the warranty company stated declined because no 1 inch issue with a ruler. They are not seeing me laying in the bed. Very dissatisfied with the warranty decision. Does not honor the warranty.Review fromHoward H

1 starI spent nearly $4,000 on a Purple Restore Premier because I wanted a premium mattress that would last for years. Instead, after only a few months, one sleep area began allowing my hips to sink noticeably more than the rest of the mattress. As that happened, my back pain returned.I didn't immediately blame the mattress. I spent weeks troubleshooting it myself. I upgraded my foundation with a heavy-duty bunkie board, changed one variable at a time, and eventually rotated the mattress. The result was obvious: sleeping on the previously unused side almost completely eliminated my back soreness. That told me the mattress was no longer providing consistent support across the sleep surface.Purple's warranty process focused entirely on measuring an unloaded indentation. My mattress measured about half an inch, so the warranty claim was denied.I even explained that my issue wasn't a permanent indentationit was inconsistent support while the mattress was supporting my body. Purple's response was that localized firmness changes are normal and aren't covered under REMOVEDapparently, if your mattress gradually stops supporting you properly but doesn't develop a permanent one-inch body impression, you're simply expected to keep sleeping on it until it gets worse. That was incredibly disappointing. This mattress felt amazing when it was new. Unfortunately, that wasn't my long-term experience, and the warranty offered no meaningful help for the issue I actually had. After spending nearly $4,000, I expected much better customer support and a company willing to stand behind its premium product.Review fromChristopher H

1 startheir products are defective, their support team is functionally nonexistent, and i have never been so disappointed in my experience as a consumer as i have dealing with this company. thousands of dollars spent and literally nothing worthwhile to show for it.none of their goods are worth the price theyre marked at, and if you do patronize this business, pray to God you dont have any issues with delivery and that your items dont come damaged because you will receive zero assistance from this company as an example, one of my issues was with a duvet cover bought from them. first, it was lost in delivery, and they refused to do anything about it until i spent a week and a half hounding REMOVEDon a daily basis to get them to confess to losing the package. then after receiving it, i washed and dried the cover three times over the next few weeks. the zipper popped off. processing the warranty claim took another few weeks on their end but they did send a replacement. only, lo and behold, the exact same issue occurred with the replacement covers zipper. they no longer sell it so the only option was a refund. after spending a total of $5623.89 in my order, $140+tax specifically on the duvet cover, i expected theyd have the grace to recognize their mistake in manufacturing and selling a clearly faulty product. instead, they said they could only offer a prorated refund for a whopping $35. after months of headaches dealing with them and their defective items, thats all my experience and loyalty meant to them.i will never buy another Purple product. i will urge everyone i know to avoid the brand. im now urging you, the public, to decide whether spending inordinate amounts of money to be treated so incredibly poorly seems like a worthwhile experience to you. this company is an absolute scam and your money would be better spent at almost any one of their competitorsReview fromF_ S

1 starREMOVEDSTORE POLICY REGARDING EXCHANGE IS NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY !!! REMOVEDI went to REMOVEDofficial store at REMOVED, N.J to exchange 2 REMOVEDpillows (Pillows still in sealed plastic bags and still in original box), sales clerk referred me to a manager, the manager asked for invoice number and receipt, after providing the sales receipt and waiting about half hour I was told to call for authorization and I have to mail back the pillows and the new pillows will be shipped also. I find it ridiculous to have customer to go thru such hustle after paying almost $500 pillows.Review fromJeanne L

1 starBought a very expensive Rejuvenate Royale Duchess from MattressFirm last month and boy, do I regret it. I slept well the first week and a half, which I suspect was more because I had COVID and less about the mattress. Every day I wake up having barely slept and in considerable pain. And the last week I've woken up daily with a migraine between 2 and 5 am that does not respond to medication. I toss and turn all night and feel horrible. I just exchanged it for a BeautyRest Black Series 4 which is being delivered today. I will never, ever buy a Purple product again.Purple

1 starWe purchased a Purple RestorePlus mattress last year. It felt great at first, but within just a few months it began sinking badly in the middle. It has now gotten so severe that my wife and I sink 8 inches deep when we lie down. Every morning we wake up in the center of a giant well, and we both have significant back pain from it. When lying on the mattress, it feels like we are sleeping on a 30-degree decline. We contacted Purples customer support multiple times about the issue, but they are refusing to honor the warranty. This is extremely disappointing because we previously owned the original Purple mattress and were very happy with its quality and durability. The new RestorePlus has been an absolute nightmare, and dealing with Purples support has been even worse. We expected better from a company that advertises a 10-year warranty and prides itself on innovative mattress technology. I would not recommend the RestorePlus model to anyone based on this experience.Review fromJamila A

1 starI bought the dream layer pillow for neck issues. It had a chemical smell that would not go away. I returned it to REMOVEDex in REMOVEDusing the label purple sent me, and that is where my problem began. I called the company and spoke to REMOVED. He basically told me I had to track it down myself. I emailed him the info i could find with regard to who i talked to via fed ex. I then received an email reply that said "My name is REMOVEDand I am a return specialist here at Purple! I am happy to assist you. Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do on our end since the shipping labels show unused. I'm sorry! I hope CVS is able to find your package! Please get in touch if there is anything else we can help you with, and thank you for your time with Purple.REMOVEDCustomer Care/Returns REMOVEDCustomer Care"There was nothing about contacting REMOVEDEx to help me resolve the issue. They are the ones who supplied the label and sent me to fed Ex. Instead they want to take my money and remove their hands from this issue. I will NEVER ever buy anything from this company EVER again. This is the worst, most cavalier attitude I have ever experienced from a company. They take no responsibility in resolving an issue. Meanwhile they have my money and are laughing their way to the bank!Review fromTHERESA P
