To get started with Interactive Worksheets:

There are currently 2 different ways to assign Interactive Worksheets to students. You can either provide students with a specific link for each Interactive Worksheet, or you can assign Interactive Worksheets using our Assignments feature.

You can assign Interactive Worksheets to your students with a specific link and their Student Code using the following steps:
- Log in to your account and click on the Worksheets resource tab.
- Select the Interactive Worksheet you’d like to assign.
- Click on the Open Interactive Worksheet button.
- From here, you will be able to preview the worksheet as a student. The preview will allow you to select and enter in answers as your students would when completing the worksheet.
- To assign the Interactive Worksheet, click on the Assign Worksheet button.
- Create the worksheet link by clicking Create link. Please note, once the Interactive Worksheet link is created, the link will expire in 30 days. Once links expire, they are saved under “Inactive” in your Assignment manager.
- Click on the Copy link button. You can now share this link with students. When a student accesses the direct link, they will be asked to enter their Student Code. This Student Code allows them to sign in, and be credited for their work.
- You can track submissions from the My Assignments page, found under your Premium user icon in the top right-hand corner.
To access the Student Codes, please see the directions below:
- Log in to your Premium membership.
- Click on the Premium user icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Select My Students/My Children. You will be taken to a new page where you will see a code for each student in your account.
To assign Interactive Worksheets using the Assignments feature:
- Log in to your account and click on the Worksheets resource tab.
- Select the Interactive Worksheet you’d like to assign.
- Select Add to assignment from the Interactive Worksheet page.
- You can create a new assignment, or add the worksheet to an existing assignment.
- Once you have added all items to the assignment (up to 50 items can be added in one assignment), select the student(s) you want to send this Assignment to, and then you can choose to select Publish Assignment. Please note, if you don’t publish now, this Assignment will be saved as a draft. If you have not yet added a student to your account, you can do so in the process of creating an Assignment.
- If you would like to create an Assignment but you do not want your students to immediately see it, then you can toggle off Publish assignment? to then save it as a draft.
- When you are finished adding students to the Assignment, then you can click Save and Finish. You will see a confirmation message once it has been successfully assigned.
As a Premium user, to view student answers and submissions:
- Log in and go to My Assignments.
- Scroll down to the My Interactive Worksheets table. Here, you can see a list of worksheets you have shared. You can toggle between Active and Inactive links.
- Click into any particular worksheet to view all student submissions and their scores in detail.
- By default, a link will remain active for 30 days, but you can close submissions early. Click on the Disable Submission Link button, after which students will no longer be able to access the worksheet.
Other FAQs about interactive worksheets:
What limitations do basic members have?
On Basic member accounts, student submissions and scores will not be saved and worksheets cannot be assigned using My Assignments or a custom link. Students will still see results after they submit, but a Premium upgrade is necessary to track multiple student submissions.
How does grading work?
After submitting a worksheet, students can view which questions they answered correctly and receive their results as a 3-star score. They can always redo the worksheet to improve their score and master a topic to achieve full stars. Grades for assigned worksheets can be viewed by visiting My Assignments.
What grades and subjects are interactive worksheets available for?
There are currently interactive worksheets for pre-K through 8th grade in math and ELA, with more subjects to come!
Can I still download the worksheets as PDFs?
Yes, all of our interactive worksheets are also available as a printable PDF.
