Program Team is focused on strengthening coordination across teams, improving efficiency and empowering contribution. It’s a home for those who span across product and project work.

What’s Next

We use Slack for real-time communication. Contributors live all over the world, so there are discussions happening at all hours of the day.

Each start of the week, there will be a summary post for this team sharing what happened last week and setting out some plans for the week ahead.

Work done:
- There is a new repo with a PR on readme that is in discussion. Discover more in handbook page what this repo is for.
- Discussions opened: Goal discussions within repo began for Q4, WP 6.9 and a more general. Note: the goals will be posted on this site once formed in discussions, they won’t only happen there or have decisions made there, however it’s easier to start there than SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/.
- The handbook now have a number of new pages and updates:
  - Communication: this is a new page outlining the initial process.
Feedback wanted:
- Goals for WordPress 6.9.
- Goals for Q4.
- General goal collection for beyond Q4 and wider focus.
