I love the game. How did you developers make this so fun?? I’m in the hard mode still have not lost. And there was a game I played and I scored 9 - 0!!! Thanks for making this game fun and easy to play!!! For people who don’t have the game don’t listen to the reviews that is like “this game should fix this or fix that!” Everything is perfect and there should be no changes that could possibly make the game not fun! For people who don’t have the game and are reading this review I would very very very much recommend this game

1. Played on AppleTV with controller but reviewed on iPhone. Couldn’t LEAVE REVIEW without downloading to iPhone. 2. In Tournament screen cannot unlock Imperial Champion Cup despite winning league one three times. Wondering if it’s because I chose to play in Italy not UK and you can only unlock in UK because the trophy is called something different in every region. 3. Tested theory in point two by creating a new career. Creating a second career would not advance beyond “training.” Also wouldn’t let me quit out of training, so I had to restart AppleTV and delete second career. 4. Gameplay is okay but like other similar games, the “difficulty level” is BS. It’s EASY or NORMAL unless it doesn’t want to be. By example, a team can cruise through a Global Cup until a semi or a final then all the sudden the same team you’ve been using for 8 straight games dominating at four goals a game can no longer get one shot on goal against a team that is equal or less in overall skill. 5. Mini Games screen is a great example proving the point about difficulty level. The Lucky Shot screen comes with no tutorial and even when you figure it out the joystick control is inconsistent. The Challenge screen is ridiculously impossible and the rewards (compared to just playing through a career on Easy or Normal) are not worth the effort. One star for making me download it twice to leave a review. Two stars in current condition. That said, this game is a 3* game if bugs are fixed, but won’t ever be more than that. Once you win all the trophies and all your players are maxed out, it’s pretty much over. Fun for killing time on the weekend but nothing I’d log hours on.

I enjoy the game but some mechanics seem random. Like yellow carding for example I will do a slide tackle from behind and I will get a yellow card. But when the AI slide tackles from behind they almost never get a yellow card it feels. It may just be observation bias but the AI rarely ever gets a foul or yellow cards for the exact same things that get me yellow cards or fouls. Which can be frustrating. As well I left the game at one point and when I went back in I lost about half my data and was back at the progress I was when I had last opened the game. So the autosave seems a bit broken as none of my data was saved and I played like 20 games. Those games are just gone. I don’t know how the game saves data but it either needs a better autosave or a manual save button just to make sure it saves.

The game is mindless, which is typically what I want when I play a game on a phone. I don’t see the point to having a bench in this game. Players don’t get injured. There is no multiplayer, which is true to most all Apple Arcade games (I think?). The game would be much better if you can play a live opponent. I don’t like how when you switch players in the game, you don’t get switched to the player closest to the ball. A lot of the “opponents” are faster than you, and I feel like the only way to win is to be consistently close to the ball. It would be cool if you can pick or design your home arena. Maybe? There are two mini games and they’re not great. I feel like each player having some sort of super move/power would add to the game. It’s a mindlessly mid game.
