I have used this app for half a year now. I love it! I have it on my Boox e-ink device as well (since i read on there) and my phone. It works great on both devices. Minor complaint: As a swedish person i very much appreciate that you can add your own books in the app if you can’t find the book you’re reading. As well as books in your own versions in your language. BUT - the search bar isn’t perfect. I have now three times in a row searched for the book i’m reading, and even searched on the author as well to find it, but with no luck. BUT, every single time I ADD the book manually i can see afterwards that multiple editions already existed on the app. So my complaint is that the search bar doesn’t always show results if you’re trying to find your book. Especially books in native languages that aren’t that popular, those will not show up even though they technically exist in the database. I always feel a bit ashamed when this happens, since it says in the app that users shouldn’t add books if a version already exists - but i can’t help that the search bar doesn’t always function properly. I would love if this coding issue could be fixed, but i bet that mending such an issue might be veery hard. So i will still give this a 5 stars, to not be too harsh.

Hello! Do you have 'Swedish' added to your list of languages on the Preferences page? Then those books will show up. They won't otherwise. Also, it can take up to 10 minutes for a book to be indexed to be in the search bar, but it should show up after that. Hopefully those two things solve the issue. Favorite app, could just use some work on community-integrating

I absolutely love this app, and I’ve been using it consistently for 3 years now. I looove the way you can see statistics of all the books you read, own, want to read etc. That part works so well and I know that if I didn’t have the app, I’d struggle through adding all my books into a spreadsheet or something. But now I don’t have to! I do wish the community aspect was better integrated. I know of the community tab, but it only really works if you’re adding people you already know. I wish it was more like the app Letterboxd, where you can easily view peoples profiles, reviews, recently watched movies and followers. They even have a section on the home page with movies recently watched by your friends, to give you some recommendations! I do hope the devs will look into this someday. I also wish the app could have some more color added. Nothing huge, it could just be like a very light teal background.
